Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,229 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rockville, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms and ensure adequate stock is available and in working condition.
• Prep patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site of entry preparation, draping, and catheter/catheter calibration.
• Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
• Monitor patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (R) - CI certification or CCI-RCIS certification, and state-specific licensing when required.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Two years of experience.

Skills

• Knowledge of related equipment within the laboratory.
• Ability to scrub in during procedures and assist physicians.
• Experience with hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.

We are looking for a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologist (Cath Lab Rad) for an immediate travel opening in Rockville, MD. The right Cath Lab Rad must have 1 year of experience.
