About the role
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Schedule
- 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- On-call required after hours, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Scrub and maintain sterile technique during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty.
- Prepare surgical trays, equipment, and the cath lab for procedures.
- Monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG, oxygen saturation, and cardiac outputs.
- Obtain medical history, review labs, educate patients/families, and obtain informed consent.
- Prepare and position patients, connect monitoring devices, perform ECGs, prep access sites, and document care.
- Perform daily QA checks and calibrate radiographic and hemodynamic equipment.
- Assist with arterial closure devices, sheath removal, and achieving hemostasis.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut State Radiographer license
- ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
