Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,200 per week
About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Anchorage, Alaska. The position is 40 hours per week, with a 10-hour shift, days.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist with interventional cardiology procedures
- Support STEMI (ST-elevation myocardial infarction) patients
- Operate equipment such as IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), Impella, Tandem Heart, and structural heart devices
- Engage in vascular, visceral angiography, and thrombectomy procedures
- Participate in neurointerventional procedures including CRM device implants
- Work with various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
- Support temporary LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) support
- Utilize Philips X-ray systems and a variety of cath lab and EP (Electrophysiology) devices
- Provide monitoring and rhythm interpretation services
- Accommodate block schedules and float between different specialties as needed
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), ARRT (Registered Cardiographic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiographic Imaging Specialist) certification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, with first-timers accepted
- Must be available for some Saturdays as part of the 4-schedule shifts
- Will be on-call for 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend
- May float to other specialties within the scope of practice
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
- No locals are accepted
- Per diem is provided
