About the role
TRA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Phoenix, Arizona. The start date is July 27, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week in a 12-hour shift, days.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements.
- Basic EKG course completion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiology or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
- One year of current experience in providing cardiac cath and radiology care.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in computed tomography.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (ARRT).
- State license if required.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
