Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,188 per week

About the role

TRA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Phoenix, Arizona. The start date is July 27, 2026, for a duration of 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week in a 12-hour shift, days.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Basic EKG course completion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital.
• One year of current experience in providing cardiac cath and radiology care.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in computed tomography.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (ARRT).
• State license if required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
