Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,180 per week

Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is based in Edinburg, Texas. This role involves supporting invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing as well as interventional procedures. The technologist must be capable of working in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, performing scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment, and supporting patients undergoing specialized cardiac procedures.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS or RAD)
• Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience
• A degree in a related field (such as BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to scrub and monitor procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Must reside at least 50 miles away from the facility

Additional Information

• Experience supporting structural heart, diagnostic, and therapeutic coronary and peripheral procedures is preferred
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities while maintaining confidentiality
• The technologist supports invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures, supporting all aspects of catheterization equipment and radiology imaging operations
