Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,174 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona. This position requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. The role is ideal for a Cardiac Catheterization Radiologic Technologist (Cath Lab Rad) with at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms, ensuring adequate stock and working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
- Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing the site of entry, draping the patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operate and ensure quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, with knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Scrub in during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab.
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS, and state-specific licensing when required.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
