About the role
The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech performs advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Cardiac Cath Lab Technicians are responsible for scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting providers as requested.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, and structural heart procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Scrub, monitor, and assist providers as requested.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Experience in performing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Knowledge of vascular and structural heart procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Cath Lab Technology.
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Experience in performing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Knowledge of vascular and structural heart procedures.
Skills
- Proficient in operating cardiac cath lab equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
