MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in Edinburg, Texas. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission‑certified provider of contract staffing services, placing nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide since 1983.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL) through technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team.
• Provide direct, safe, competent and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Sustain a high level of patient care by communicating with patients, families, and physicians and co‑workers to address physical, general and psychosocial needs.
• Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient‑focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current License in good standing
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting

Pay

Pay includes weekly wages via direct deposit, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. The pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Start date: 11/09/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.
