This role involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to support various cardiac procedures including electrophysiology (EP), catheterization, and structural heart cases. Schedule 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, Monday through Friday. Shifts are from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call Expectations The number of call days required will vary based on staffing levels, with a target of limiting call shifts to 7 days per month. This includes: One Friday to Sunday weekend call. Four weeknight call shifts from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Case Types The Cath/EP Lab handles a variety of procedures, including: Electrophysiology (EP): Ablations, EP studies, device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, etc.), lead extractions, and cardioversions. Cath Lab: Left and Right Heart Catheterizations, transvenous pacing, Impella insertion/removals, and peripheral cases. Structural Heart Procedures: Watchman device placements, valve procedures, PFO closures, and ECMO support. Case Load This position will involve operating in a high-volume environment with: 3 procedure rooms active simultaneously. Average of 5-6 catheterization cases per day and 2-5 electrophysiology cases, depending on the day's requirements. Please note that case volume may fluctuate due to various factors, including add-on procedures, clinician availability, and patient attendance. Qualifications Valid radiologic technology certification. Experience in cardiac procedures preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
