About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to interventional cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients
- Operate and monitor equipment used during catheterization procedures
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records
- Ensure sterile environments are maintained throughout procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for Texas state licensure
- Pass a background check
