This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging and patient care according to department policies and protocols. The position supports clinical teams in interventional and diagnostic procedures to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Job Details Certifications or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; applicable state licensure if required; BLS certification; advance certification by accrediting body in specialty preferred within 18 months of hire; clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience; experience requirement: 0 years. Schedule: Days shift with 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Performs prescribed radiographic procedures according to department, facility policies, and protocols. Examines equipment quality control measures; troubleshoots and reports issues to maintain optimal performance. Educates patients and families regarding procedures and treatments. Demonstrates competence in administering radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as needed. Ensures safety by adhering to radiation safety policies and maintaining a safe environment. Performs all functions with an emphasis on confidentiality, professionalism, and high-quality service. May direct activities of students and support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
