Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,066 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position involves 8-hour day shifts and is classified as a travel role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and operational equipment, including instrument sterilization when applicable.
- Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site preparation, patient draping, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operate and maintain quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, with comprehensive knowledge of related laboratory equipment.
- Scrub in during procedures to assist physicians in maneuvering catheters.
- Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital/line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Cath Lab Technologists must be able to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) (CI preferred) or CCI-RCIS.
- State-specific licensing when required.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
