Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,064 per week

Travel Cath Lab Technologist position in Danbury, Connecticut.

About the role

13-week travel assignment starting 08/31/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (06:30 AM – 07:00 PM) with variable start times between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation required based on department needs. Work site: 24 Hospital Avenue, Danbury, CT 06810.

Ideal candidate is a cross-trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories. Proficient in supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases.

Responsibilities

• Scrub electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).
• Scrub cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and support mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).
• Support neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions.
• Assist with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
• Scrub structural heart procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman (preferred).
• Utilize advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, 3D mapping systems, and mechanical circulatory support devices.

Requirements

• State of CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI.
• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Siemens equipment (if a licensed radiologic technologist).
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI.
