Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist in Marquette, Michigan. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, intra-aortic balloon procedures, Impella device management, intravascular ultrasound, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, and wave wire techniques. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment. This role is integral to supporting adult and geriatric patient populations in a busy Cath Lab environment.

Job Details

  • Location: Marquette, Michigan

  • Shift: Variable shift start times at 7am and 8am, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and 10 hours per shift

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Michigan Licenses

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • No minimum years of experience required

  • Certifications and meet license requirements as specified

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with general procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, arterial line insertion, coronary angioplasty, CTO (Chronic Total Occlusion), intra-aortic balloon management, Impella devices, intravascular ultrasound, stent placement, thrombolysis, venography, and wave wire techniques

  • Experience in hemodynamic and other calculations, right & left heart catheterization, structural heart procedures, and vascular interventional procedures

  • Familiarity with EP (Electrophysiology) studies

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
