Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,053 per week

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment in Waterloo, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients.
• Operate equipment and monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Cath Lab Technologist certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology setting.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• On-call availability for 2 days/week for two weeks, then every third weekend from 1530 Friday to 0700 Monday.

Qualifications

• Current ACLS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
