The facility is an acute care teaching facility with over 700 licensed beds, recognized for its cardiac cath lab excellence and accredited for PCI procedures. The cardiology team benefits from multidisciplinary support and operates adjacent to cardiac surgery and hybrid operating rooms. The cath lab operates with 6 procedure rooms, serving a daily census of 15–20 adult patients, performing advanced procedures such as TAVR, left atrial appendage closures, thrombectomy, mitral clips, and renal denervation using state‑of‑the‑art equipment including IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Rotapro, CSI, Shockwave, laser, OCT, and IVUS.
