About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on July 27, 2026, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering sedation and monitoring vital signs
- Operate equipment and maintain sterile environments
- Document patient data accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in Iowa
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating cath lab equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passing score on the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent

Pay
The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
