Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL TECH) will support physicians in all invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves assisting with procedures such as vascular access, hemodynamic monitoring, and assistive device management in a busy catheterization lab setting. The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic clinical environment focusing on advanced cardiovascular care.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, working four days per week, with a start date of 08/17/2026.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technologist or radiologic technologist program, or an applied science program;
  • AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (BLS) certification;
  • ACLS certification within 3 months of employment;
  • Must pass RCIS exam by CCI or possess Radiologic Technologist license within 1 year of hire;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive procedure area in an acute care hospital.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree in a health science field;
  • Additional experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

  • AHA BLS;
  • ACLS;
  • RCIS.

Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in scrub assist, table-side assistance, sterile operative techniques, hemodynamic monitoring, and communication skills;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

Additional Information

  • The role requires lifting a minimum of 40 lbs., standing for at least 4 hours daily, and assisting with vascular access, monitoring, and equipment calibration.
  • The position may include on-call responsibilities per organizational policy.
