Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,998 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
• Prepping patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
• Operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
• Manning the cardiac cath lab during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
• Maintaining patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty.

Requirements

• One year of experience.
• ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience.

Skills

• Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
• Ability to scrub in during procedures and assist the physician.
• Ability to operate and monitor equipment used in the cardiac cath lab.
• Ability to record and interpret hemodynamic and electrical data.
• Ability to participate in life-saving measures.

Benefits

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
