Travel assignment for a Cath Lab Technologist in Charlotte, North Carolina (28203). Assignment starts 09/30/2026, lasts 16 weeks, with 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift (0730–1800).

About the role

Position is at an 874-bed, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital designated as a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Magnet facility. The unit has 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms.

  • Manager conducts final interview; SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing used.
  • On-call and callback required; weekend rotation every 4–5 weeks.
  • Travelers must work at least one holiday per contract if applicable.
  • No floating required.
  • First-time travelers accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac cases: NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip.
  • Perform vascular cases: primarily lower-extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR.
  • Assist with endografts, EVARs, TEVARs; must be willing to learn if no prior experience.
  • On-call duties:
    • Vascular: two weekends per month plus two weekdays; 1-hour response time.
    • Cardiac: one night per week plus every 5th weekend; 30-minute response time.
  • Cover for other travelers’ requested time off, which may require extra call shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience.
  • Peripheral angiogram/run-off experience required.
  • Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

  • BLS, ACLS.
  • ARRT-R or RCIS certification.

Skills

  • Required: Cath Lab experience, peripheral angiogram/run-off experience.
  • Preferred: IR experience or experience in a lab with vascular surgeons; experience with endografts, EVARs, TEVARs.
