About the role
The position is a travel Cath Lab Technologist in Carbondale, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- 36 hours per week.
- 12 hours shift.
- Cardiac tech experience preferred.
- 1 year of experience as a full-time technologist.
- Clinical experience within the last 2 years.
- Current State Licensure.
- Current Relevant Certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc).
