Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for Radiography) or CCI RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Licensure

IN-STATE LICENSE / REQUIRED CERTS MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT. Pending State License not accepted.

Skills Required

• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, including scrubbing experience.
• Proficiency in procedures: Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Interventional Radiology, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Scrubbing/Maintaining Sterile Field, Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Cardiac Cath Lab, Ablations.

Preferred Experience

• Charting System Experience is preferred: McKesson
• Having Interventional Radiology (IR) experience is preferred.

Travel Experience

Travel experience not required but 18 months experience is specified with exceptions depending on the unit.

University Accreditation

Traveler's University must be accredited by the ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) at the time of graduation.

References

2 supervisor references required.

Additional Notes

• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Floating is 100% required of all travelers; candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s nearby.
