Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and vascular procedures.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain sterile fields and specialized equipment in the cardiac cath lab.
- Monitor, record, and document hemodynamic data and vital signs during procedures.
- Administer contrast media and handle radiation equipment adhering to strict ALARA safety guidelines.
- Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and safety before, during, and post-procedure.
