Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : N/A
Type of equipment : Philips & GE Cath Lab Equipment
Documentation system: EMR is Meditech / Cath Lab Documentation is Mac Lab
Scheduling requirements: 40 hours per week / 4 x 10 hours shifts / minimum of 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month of call / Holiday call coverage if assignment overlaps with a holiday
Floating policy: N/A
Patient Experience requirements: Requires at least 2 years of cath lab experience (preferably having already had travel experience)

Requirements

  • Must be able to scrub all related cardia catheterization procedures and pan the x-ray table.
  • Must have: ACLS / BLS / ARRT or RCIS
  • Advanced skills needed: Candidate must have diagnostic and interventional cardiology experience as well as STEMI response experience as the call component requires STEMI call coverage.

Procedures Performed on Units

  • Diagnostics and interventional coronary angiograms
  • Structural heart (TAVR/ M-TEER / T-TEER / LAAO / EVAR / TEVAR / PFO Closures)
  • Vascular and peripheral related angiograms
  • Electrophysiology studies and all related ablations
  • All device implants

Certifications Required

  • Any related licensure (ACLS / BLS / ARRT or RCIS)

Dress Code

  • Surgical Scrubs – Provided by Hospital
