Job Summary

Springfield, Illinois Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position. This role involves providing specialized care in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization laboratory setting, supporting various cardiac procedures and ensuring patient safety. Candidates will assist with a range of cardiac catheterization procedures and have the opportunity to work within a Level I trauma center.

Job Details

• Position / Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
• Shift: 4x12-hour days (0630-1900), Days shift
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 08/03/2026

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license
• Certifications include ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS
• 0 or more years of experience
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement, cardiac implant closure devices, IABP placement/removal, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and proficiency with sterile technique and PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Open to flexible schedule requests
• Work within a Level I trauma center setting

Additional Information

• Call required as needed with a flexible schedule
• Candidates should be comfortable with equipment setup, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and infection control protocols
• Floating within scope may be necessary to meet facility needs
• Orientation includes 36 hours prior to start, with modules completed pre-start and renewed annually

Pay Package
