Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,949 per week

About the role

TRA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Commerce Charter Twp, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging and other related procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Formal 2 year radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school meeting ARRT registry requirements.
• Basic EKG Course completion.
• BS in Radiology or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years experience in an acute care hospital.
• 1 year current experience providing Cardiac Cath, Radiology Care.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in computed tomography.
• State license if required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
