Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,937 per week

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory under the supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive cardiology procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering sedation and monitoring vital signs
• Operate equipment and perform tests to gather data for diagnosis
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
• Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pass a criminal background check

• Proficient in operating cardiac cath lab equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
