Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,930 per week

About the role

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) position is located in an urban healthcare setting specializing in interventional cardiology procedures. The role supports a high‑functioning team to provide advanced cardiovascular care, working with new equipment and technology in a dynamic environment that emphasizes high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with interventional cardiology procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), electrophysiology (EP) ablations, pacemaker placements, implantable cardioverter‑defibrillator (ICD) insertions, cardioversions, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) examinations, and structural heart interventions.
• Scrub and monitor patients during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain a high‑performance team.
• Utilize modern equipment and adhere to best practices for patient safety and care quality.

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10 hours per day).
• Minimum 40 hours per week.
• Rotating call schedule: includes two weekends and 9–12 days of call within a 6‑week period.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current Cath Lab Technologist experience.
• BLS certification.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration (R).
• Credentialed in Cardiac Interventional Specialty (CI) or Cardiovascular (CV) preferred.
• Ability to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) prior to starting work.

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT (CI) or (CV) certification.
• Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience.
• Prior experience with Meditech.
• Skills in EP/Structural Heart procedures and Right Heart monitoring.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
