Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,900 per week

Travel position in Midland, Michigan for a Cath Lab Technologist. Assignment starts ASAP, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

About the role

This position sets up all radiographic equipment prior to performing angiographic procedures, processes and performs quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assists in preparing patients for procedures, and supports other cath lab/Interventional Radiology staff and physicians to ensure timely and efficient use of the cardiac cath lab/special procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists in prepping patients, sterile tray set-up, post-cath care and procedures, and room clean-up (35%).
• Manipulates equipment and sets appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality (35%).
• Operates a variety of electronic equipment including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, pacemakers, etc., and performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements (30%).

Requirements

• Cath Lab Tech experience (required).
• Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered).
• Skills checklist current to within one year, specific to Cath Lab (required document).
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years (required document).
• Active certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (required document).
• Active American Heart Association BLS (required document).
• Active American Heart Association ACLS (required document).

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA).
• ARRT.
• BLS (AHA).

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts.
• 36 hours per week.
• Every weekend required.
• No on-call duty.

Pay

Rate: $111 per hour. Pay package includes tax-free stipend amount to be determined, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
