About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate and monitor equipment used during procedures, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy.
- Document all procedures accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Iowa.
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
