About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Hampton, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering sedation and monitoring vital signs.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Current ACLS certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with fluoroscopy and related imaging technologies.
- Proficiency with medical terminology and documentation.
