About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse with scrubbing experience for a 13-week travel contract position in Montclair, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cardiac procedures and possess the necessary certifications to ensure high-quality patient care.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:00)
• Call required: 9 days per month

Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of equipment and instruments during cardiac procedures
• Accurate monitoring of patients throughout all stages of cath lab procedures
• Performing EKG lead placement and understanding of dysrhythmias
• Maintaining sterile technique and a safe environment for patients
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Documentation and charting as per facility protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab
• Current certifications: ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT R, and BLS
• Valid state or compact RN license
• Prior charge experience is preferred
