About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Birmingham, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate equipment used in catheterization procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Current ACLS/BLS certification.
- RCIS certification preferred (if not certified, at least 10 assignments as a Cath Lab Tech required).
- Ability to work weekends, one day per week.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology.

- Proficiency in operating catheterization lab equipment.
