About the role
The organization is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technologist for a travel position in Glendale, California. This role involves operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the cardiovascular system, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.
Schedule
- Rotating shift, 8 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week, including every other weekend
Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare/position them for imaging exams
- Monitor patient safety during imaging processes
- Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
- Report important details to physicians
- Perform screening procedures and prepare equipment/examination rooms
- Verify exams on PACS
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
- California Radiologic Tech license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Fluoroscopy license in state of employment (required in CA within 6 months of hire)
- At least two years of experience including portables and C-arms
- All required vaccinations must be received as a condition of employment
