Travel Cath Lab Technician – 13-Week Contract
Location: Pontiac, MI
Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours
Contract Type: Travel/Long-Term Assignment

Position Responsibilities

Aid physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization laboratory before, during, and after procedures.
Operate fluoroscopy, imaging, and hemodynamic monitoring equipment according to facility protocols.
Prepare patients for procedures by verifying documentation, positioning patients, and ensuring comfort and safety.
Maintain sterile technique throughout all procedures.
Monitor patient status during procedures and communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
Accurately document procedural information and patient care.
Assist with room turnover, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Technician experience preferred.
Current BLS Certification required.
Current ARRT Certification required.
Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cardiovascular imaging equipment.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
