Med Ninjas is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Snellville, Georgia.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Cath Lab TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: ASAPDuration: 9 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Minimum Experience: 2 years in relevant field; no first-time travelers accepted - Patient Population: Adults to geriatrics - Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, plus one of the following: RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV - General Skills/Work Setting: - Experience with diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, device implants - No EP studies or ablations - EKG settings and experience required - Must be able to obtain vitals, interpret rhythms, and identify sinus node rhythms - Pacemaker experience preferred - Required experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSI - Unit Details: - 3 rooms with 5 beds - Average daily census: 8-10 patients - Unit Systems: - Epic (required) - Pyxis, SBAR, Merge (preferred) - Scrub Color: Provided by facility - Time Off: Maximum of 7 days requestable - Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified - Floating: Required within department and possibly to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South) - Call Requirements: 12-15 days/month, including 2 weekends; late stay as needed - Holiday Requirement: - Must work major holidays as assigned, depending on assignment length - Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day - Compliance: Full compliance required before start; non-compliance leads to 2-week delay - Clinical Screening: Candidate reviewed by clinical team for fit and compliance with guidelines - Locals: Accepted at the same rate - Orientation Hours: Number of non-billable hours determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)Med Ninjas Job ID #16646.
