About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a position in Lansing, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Michigan.
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of catheterization laboratory techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Current certification in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technology preferred.
- Previous experience in a catheterization laboratory setting.
Skills
- Proficient in operating catheterization laboratory equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
