HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Miami, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and other related procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and monitor equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently, maintaining detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and procedural success.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Experience in performing cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization lab equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Current CPR certification.
