About the role
Travel Cath Lab Technologist position at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami, FL. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, balloon angioplasty, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing duties.
- Operate in all GE cath lab rooms using Meditech and MacLab documentation systems.
- Adhere to call requirements: maximum 15 days on call during critical periods.
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in a 4‑room unit.
- Collaborate with RN and tech staff, following day‑shift (director, manager, minimum 3 staff per room) and night‑shift (on‑call team, 4 staff on STEMI call) staffing models.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Neuro‑vascular experience
- RCIS certification
- ARRT certification
Skills
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast‑paced unit
- Capable of functioning independently
