About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Margate, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization, cerebrovascular angiograms, stent placements, balloon dilatations, ENT procedures, and scrubbing duties.
- Work in a 4-bed unit with a staff of 22, including 16 RNs and techs on a day shift and 7 on-call teams at night.
- Adhere to patient ratios of 1:1 and utilize GE Innova equipment.
- Utilize Meditech and MacLab EMR systems.
- Collaborate in a close-knit, fast-paced team environment.
- Occasional on-call shifts may be required.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications are mandatory.
- Candidates should be competent in special procedures and GE Innova equipment.
- RCIS certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience in typical procedures such as cardiac cath, cerebella angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab, and scrubbing is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Must be a registered professional with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Must have a strong background in performing various medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment are required.
