About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and preparing equipment
- Monitor patient vitals during procedures and report any changes to the supervising physician
- Document procedures accurately and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy
- Knowledge of cardiac physiology and pathophysiology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
