About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Plano, Texas. This is a full-time travel position with 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), including rotating call and weekends.

Unit Information

• Location: Cardiac Cath Lab at Medical City Frisco (5500 Frisco Square Blvd, Frisco, TX 75034)
• Number of Labs: 2
• Staffing: 8 staff members; 3-person team per room on day shift
• Patient Ratios: 3-person team per patient for caths, 1:1 for TEE/CVNs
• Equipment: Cath Lab
• EMR: Meditech

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with procedures including:
  • Heart Caths
  • PE/DVT Thrombectomy
  • PVS (Peripheral Vascular Studies)
  • TEE with CVNs
  • Lexiscans
  • EP Studies and Ablations
  • Implants
• Monitor procedures in MacLab
• Float to ED and ICU as needed

Requirements

• Critical Skills (Must Have):
  • Critical Care Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab Experience
• Preferred Skills:
  • EP & Peripheral Vascular Experience
  • Ability to monitor procedures in MacLab
  • Over 5 years of experience
• Certifications:
  • RCIS or RCES (for Tech position)
  • ACLS/BLS
• Personality Fit: Flexible, caring, punctual, dependable, consistent, team-oriented
