About the role

Travel position in Snellville, Georgia. 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, and device implants (no EP studies or ablations)
• Obtain and interpret patient vitals and rhythms (sinus node rhythms required; pacemaker experience preferred)
• Operate GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, and CSI Ratio systems
• Work in a 3-room, 5-bed unit with an average daily census of 8–10 patients
• Use Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR, and Merge (preferred) systems
• Adhere to facility scrub color policy (provided by facility)
• Take call 10 days per month
• Work every other weekend unless otherwise specified
• Float within the department, facility, and potentially to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Patient population: Adults to geriatrics
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and RCIS, RCES, or ARRT CV (General)
• EKG interpretation experience
• Return-to-office (RTO) time: maximum 7 days
