Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,667 per week

About the role

Travel Cath Lab Technologist position at Medical City Denton (Denton, Texas). 13‑week travel assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The role is based in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit, which includes 2 cath labs, 1 EP lab, and 1 IR neuro lab.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations.
• Perform interventional radiology procedures.
• Scrub and assist with panning during procedures.
• Assist RN staff with circulating duties as needed.
• Participate in rotating call after hours and weekends (approximately 50% of the month).
• Provide coverage for weekends and on‑call as required (average 12‑15 call days per month).
• Float to Emergency Department, Discharge Lounge, or other areas as needed within skill set.
• Adhere to unit dress code (seal‑blue scrubs) and follow unit guidelines/policies.

Requirements

• Current RCIS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• R.T. (ARRT) certification; R.T. (R) ARRT preferred.
• For RN applicants: active RN license and ACLS.
• Demonstrated experience in scrubbing and ability to panning (Cath Lab Tech).
• Demonstrated experience in circulating (Cath Lab RN).

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in Electrophysiology.
• Preferred experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Preferred experience in Interventional Neuro.

Skills

• Proficient with temporary pacemaker, intra‑aortic balloon pump, Impella, Penumbra, Shockwave, IVUS, IFR, and GE Mac Lab/Innova imaging systems.
• Familiar with Mac Lab/Meditech EMR.
• Ability to perform diagnostic and interventional heart caths and interventional radiology procedures.
• Assertive personality fit for the unit.
