About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist
- Assisting in the preparation of patients for procedures
- Maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures
- Documenting patient data accurately and efficiently
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Passport required for international travel
Skills
- Proficient in computer systems used in healthcare settings
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
