Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,665 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in San Antonio, Texas. This assignment starts on 09/07/2026, lasts 4 weeks, and requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in performing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain high-level patient care by communicating with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
• Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
• Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and anticipating/obtaining necessary inventory and medications.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Promote national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
