Vibra Travels is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Knoxville, Tennessee.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of 09/07/2026. The schedule is 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT certification required.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
  • Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment.
  • Two (2) years of recent experience required.
  • State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements.
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor (AHA preferred and required by some clients).
  • ACLS may be required by some clients.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures.

Pay
