About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during invasive procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional cardiology procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients appropriately.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in the catheterization laboratory.
- Document patient care activities and procedures accurately and timely.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of cath lab tech experience.
- ARRTAHA BLS certification.
- AHA ACLS certification.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist through the appropriate state board.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
