About the role
The hospital is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to work 8-hour days starting immediately. This is a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs
- Document patient data accurately
- Ensure sterile environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current license/certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in computer systems and medical terminology
- Knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality
