About the role
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This full-time travel role involves supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, with proficiency in scrub and circulate duties, and the ability to independently support physicians during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Perform scrub and circulate duties in the cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Independently support physicians during procedures
- Maintain a sterile, safe environment
- Participate in a rotating call schedule, including approximately one weekend per month
Schedule
- Four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
- Shift Time: Days (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
- Minimum 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Certifications or licensure relevant to cath lab technology
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac catheterization procedures
- Ability to work independently in scrub and circulate roles
- Scrub competency (highly desirable due to current staffing needs)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cath lab experience required
- Ability to scrub cath lab procedures independently (strongly preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Current applicable licensure and certifications
